Kheng’s Bio —
I have been holding a camera since I was 12 years old using my dad’s Olympus OM-1 film SLR. Ever since then I have learnt that a picture speaks louder than words. Whenever I revisit the old photos, it still brings back memories of when I took that picture and the mood I was in at that moment when I “clicked” that shutter button. As a professional photographer I strive to cement that very moment, that very emotion when I “click” that shutter button. It brings me no greater pleasure in hearing you say, “Ah yes… I remember that… “
Graham LeggateGraham’s Bio —
I have had a love affair with photography on and off for over 20 years. I picked up the shutter bug back in school, whilst holding a Pentax K1000. My first SLR which was a Yashika FX-3. In the early days I spent days in a lab developing and printing black and whites and occasionally even doing colour. I loved the feeling of producing something to show friends and family from a little black-brown plastic strip. The emotion which is created from the art and science of it is amazing. The idea of recording something as an image burnt on to a negative forever for other generations to see leaves me feeling nostalgic. I love the feeling of doing that using todays technology, it gives me the same buzz.
